I broke my foot at the tail-end of July. I sent the following month off of it completely. Then I gradually, with the help of layered insoles started to ease my way back onto the pedals. The past five weeks have been immersed with focus and consistency. I see the progress. I feel the progress. Here are my hours in the saddle (this includes a good deal of intensity).
Week 1: 13:10:00
Week 2: 17:35:00
Week 3: 16:30:00
Week 4: 12:15:00
Week 5: 19:00:00
This week: tracking toward 15:00:00
My new cross bike is in the mechanics shop waiting to be built. I feel ready to race again. After a detour through relationships, jobs, and even cities, I finally feel settled. Every area of life is becoming more and more healthy. More consistent.
I may very well have the best bike racing of my life around the corner. I just neet to continue to foot the bill while I work to impress a team with my golden potential.

Hello, this is my first time here and I'm looking forward to returning. I hope you will find the time for a counter visit so we can stay connected. I find your blog very interesting and would like to follow it. I also see we share some interests i.e. I see one of your favourite movies is babel, did you like the story, what do you think about it in the way GLOBALISATION is linked to the tower of babel?
